1st class planted cress, peas and spinach when they won a growers pack from innocent smoothies
1st class had lots of fun playing parachute games for active school week.
The Parents association very kindly donated a sum of money to each class teacher to purchase items for their classroom. 1st class are thoroughly enjoying all their new additions
Look what we made! 1st class have been learning all about the Vikings and even managed to make their very own Viking ships. Wonderful work. Well done 1st class.
The Sport’s day medals were presented to all the lucky sport’s day winners to smile’s all round, especially to the Junior Infants who all received one for participating in the day.
A few classes made a trip down to the lifeboat station today and got to see and learn lots about how the lifeboat station operates.
1st class had a great Science fun day today exploring engineering, capacity, floating and sinking, absorption, magnetism, reaction of baking powder and vinegar and everyone’s favourite; making GIANT bubbles. Junior and Senior Infants also had a chance to explore each work station. Thank you to 5th class for all their help.

The boys and girls of the Glebe got a real treat when Narnia came to the Glebe. They got to watch their very own performance of ” The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe” from the Narnia Chronicles by C.S. Lewis.
