A few classes made a trip down to the lifeboat station today and got to see and learn lots about how the lifeboat station operates.
1st class had a great Science fun day today exploring engineering, capacity, floating and sinking, absorption, magnetism, reaction of baking powder and vinegar and everyone’s favourite; making GIANT bubbles. Junior and Senior Infants also had a chance to explore each work station. Thank you to 5th class for all their help.
1st class had a lovely surprise when some furry friends arrived…. in the form of 4 little 1 week old chicks
The boys and girls of the Glebe got a real treat when Narnia came to the Glebe. They got to watch their very own performance of ” The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe” from the Narnia Chronicles by C.S. Lewis.

Today the children of the Glebe had a real treat. The PTA provided them all with lovely pancakes to celebrate Pancake/Shrove Tuesday. A Huge thank you to all the parents who provided and served all the yummy and much appreciated pancakes.
