Pupils from 1st -5th class participated in Mathletics – a programme designed to integrate the both maths and athletics.
As part of Active Week, children from 1st to 5th class participated in a Hockey Ireland Skills Challenge course, run by our 6th class with help from the teachers.
Our school took part in the One Million Step Challenge in association with Wicklow Local Sports Partnership. We received a certificate from Sport Ireland. Well done to all who participated.
Some pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th class are taking part in a Leinster league with the Wicklow Tennis Club.
If you hear the drip drop, make it stop. All the children in 1st – 6th class participated in a poster competition to create a water slogan for our school. The chosen slogan was if you hear the drip drop, make it stop. There were lots of other brilliant slogans and posters.
This year we are renewing our Green School flag. The theme for this year’s flag is water. After School Running Club has resumed for children in 3rd and 4th Class at the Murrough.
This week the Glebe participated in National Day of Fitness Ireland. Children from 3rd to 6th class had a chance to ‘Take on the Teachers’.

The Choir, all 33 of them, competed in the Diocesan Schools Choirs Competition in Christ Church Cathedral on Sunday 2nd April. They sang ‘My Way’ by Frank Sinatra and ‘Come Thou Fount’ by Sufjan Stevens which were both accompanied by Klass de Vries.
