Wicklow Tennis Club paid a visit to the school. They gave a mini tennis workshop to every class in the school. Everyone had a fantastic time. You can find more pictures by clicking here.
This year the Active School’s committee ran a poster competition to encourage children to be active at break time. The children were asked to create a poster bearing the slogan ‘Do Your Talking While Your Walking’. Well done to the winners.

On Friday the 13th of January, 6th Class took part in the RDS Primary Science Fair this year. Their investigation was find out ‘What is the best way to keep drinks cool without a fridge?’. Teams from 4th, 5th and 6th Class took part in a cross country relay race in Avondale. A great day for all the children that took part. For some in 4th class it was their first time doing such an event and all the children thoroughly enjoyed the day. Check out some more photographs here
