6th class enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book character for World Book Day as well as taking part in lots of fun activities. They particularly enjoyed playing “Who am I?” where they had to question their friends to try and work out which famous book character they were.

4th class had lots of fun making and then trying out their wind powered cars
Today is World Thinking day for the Girl Guides. Some girls wore their Guides uniform to school today as it is the Birthday of the founding member of Girl Guides. Each year on then 22nd Feb, Girl guides round the world wear their uniforms to promote awareness of their organisation.
The Glebe NS are delighted to have been selected to take part in a very exciting project. Wicklow county council has commissioned sculptor Michael Johnson to sculpt some Butterflies for the new M11. He has chosen the Glebe NS and more specifically pupils from 3rd class to help him in this exciting new project.
2nd Class were learning about the Chinese New Year and had a dragon parade to celebrate it.
5th class thoroughly enjoyed their tour of the Famine ship “Jeanie Johnston” on a day trip to Dublin.
6th class had a very exciting trip on the train to visit Leinster House in Dublin. They had a very interesting tour of the government buildings, learnt a lot of interesting facts and even got to see the Dáil in session. Simon Harris TD was also on hand to answer any questions they had. A […]
Following on from their great success at the Wicklow school championships, 4 pupils went on to represent the Glebe at county level. They travelled to Wexford for a day of stiff bowling competition. They played really well and were thrilled to find out that they had received first place.
6th class and 5th class girls enjoyed a wonderful morning of science at the Dominican Secondary school.
