Glebe National School is a Church of Ireland school. Because of this, priority of entry is given to Church of Ireland children within our catchment area, and to the children of members of other historical Protestant denominations. Where possible places will be made available to siblings of children already in the school.

In cases other than the above and where places exist, the applications will go before the Board of Management for consideration.

It is also to be noted that Religious Education is a compulsory part of the curriculum in the school and there is an expectation that pupils will take part in act of worship during the school year.

The Board of Management recognises its responsibilities for children with special educational needs in accordance with Section 15 (d ) of the Education Act.
